Program
Benefits
Full and half-day workshops are available for
students in years 10-12 utilising Yoga & Meditation techniques.
The aim is to empower each student to take
control of their physical, emotional and psychological well-being.
Students benefit from the following:
- These
workshops are designed to provide Stress Relief Techniques via the
scientific methods of Yoga,
Meditation, Relaxation and Visualisation.
- They
empower
students before exams OR relax
and de-stress them after exams
- Simple,
clear and effective techniques are offered
- Yoga
postures will relieve physical tightness, energy blockages and re-establish
a quiet balance in the body
- Attention
is particularly paid to re-energising brain function through postures & breath
- Meditation
techniques slows the mental “chatter”, clears the thought processes,
improves memory and enhance creativity
- Emotional
swings and disturbances are brought under control with postures, breathing
practices and meditation
- ‘Office
Yoga’ techniques reduce stiffness and lethargy at the computer
- Life
skill discussions give the students the opportunity to regain their personal
power and focus
- Hand-outs
ensure students progress at home
- These
workshops are a wonderful opportunity to improve self-esteem and empower
each student with tools to regain control of their hectic daily
lives.

What's
Involved?

The Workshop is
provided in an atmosphere of respect, trust and safety whilst
still having fun!

Time is also made for
discussion, reflection and journal writing.

Half
or full day workshops are available. Large class groups are
welcome.

Students
will take home a sequence and skill chart to keep on their wall for
reference.

The
workshops are run by a fully trained and experienced Yoga & Secondary
teacher.
- Workshops are conducted at the school or an alternative
venue may be offered
