HATHA YOGA
Patanjali, one of the great and earliest
Yoga sages, devised the 8-fold path to integrate the body, mind
and Spirit in order to help us reach and experience Enlightenment.
One step along this path is the use of asanas or postures-using the
body to alter the internal state of mind and consciousness.
With 84 traditional, classical
Hatha Yoga postures to choose from, the student is guided towards
a flow and ease combined with breath control, mudras (gestures),
bandhas (locks) and oftentimes meditation to enhance this process.
